The culture rework is not small, and looks like it adds depth and complexity - now erasing every other culture in your realm to replace it with whatever culture you started as isn't automatically the only worth while decision adopting elements of near by cultures or blending with them becomes possible for *everyone*, not just predetermined (and static) groupings. We have the power, if we could just stand together and say: No.Ĭlick to expand. And here you're *vastly* understating what Royal Court is apparently going to do. The only thing that can bring pressure for change is poor sales. Paradox has become one of these companies that doesn't actually care about player feedback. So, with that said, I think the community needs to speak with their wallets and not purchase this DLC or any other DLC until the basic mechanics and fundamentals of the game are improved. Not really what the game desperately needed in my opinion, not even close. Instead.we got a throne room visual with some events, and a change to culture etc. With all the obvious problems and complaints from the players, you would think the CKIII dev team would set out to add some more depth and complexity in the first major DLC. (I would argue the only thing CKIII has over CKII is graphics and that's it, but reasonable people can disagree). The forums are already full of very good post explaining the current shallow gameplay, lack of meaningful choices/events, nonsensical mechanics and the all around uninspired feeling of nearly every aspect of the game. And this post doesn't need to list out all the reason why. I think we can all agree, the game is not very good currently.
